On 16th August 2017 a group of 76 students F2 & F3 with 3 teachers had an amazing historical tour to Bagamoyo. They visited various places of memory such as Caravan Serai, a museum which is built at the at the site which was formerly the starting point for slave and trade caravans to the interior. They also had a chance to visit the Old Fort which is one of the oldest Historical building, established in 1860.It was once used as a market place, a last stop by slave trades before boarding for foreign countries but also as a watch tower by British. Currently the Fort is used as a historical remains site.A visit to an archaeological site, Kaole was a great experience. Students learned a lot and had fun at the beach. On the last day before departing to Arusha they visited Dar es salaam Port and the Nyerere bridge.
